There is no rule that a good coffee break needs a distant view. A bench around the corner, a sunny step, or the kitchen window can be enough. What changes the moment is often the decision to stop doing three other things while you drink.
Make the pause the point.
Prepare your favourite drink and give yourself ten unhurried minutes. Put the phone away. Notice the temperature of the cup, the sounds nearby, and the light in front of you. If coffee is not your thing, tea or a glass of water works just as well. The drink is an invitation, not a requirement.
Take it outside.
On a day out, a reusable flask can turn a short stop into something you look forward to. Choose a place where you can sit without blocking a path or disturbing others. Bring everything back with you when you leave.
Small rituals do not transform every day into a holiday. They simply make room for a little pleasure in the day you already have.
